Justus von Boehmer, a Master student of Science Tokyo’ｓ exchange program YSEP from Technical University of Munich joined us at Hatano & Iwasaki Lab this October. / Hatano & Iwasaki Lab.

I am Justus von Boehmer from the Technical University of Munich, where I study Quantum Science and Technology. During my time at the Hatano Lab, I am working on development of PID control implemented on an FPGA. The aim of my project is to enhance possibility of the simultaneous readout of a greater number of NV centers. This approach integrates seamlessly with the FPGA of the lock-in amplifier and the FPGA of the microwave generator controller that manages the NV center spin.
I am thankful to the lab for their warm and welcoming atmosphere and their guidance and support during my research. I greatly enjoy my work here and hope to maintain a strong connection with the lab in the future!
